Toy Chest: Sprig Dino Adventure Rig

Hold onto your butts.

Tick-tock, Tick-tock.  That's the sound of time running out.

Never fear, though, because SuperRad Dad is here with another fantastic offering from Sprig Toys. 

What does the Mu love? He loves to smash things and he loves things that smash things.  This is why the Dino Adventure Rig from Sprig, which combines a truck to smash and two dinosaurs that smash, is like a slice of heaven to a 2 year old. 


With the same chunk-tastic design, the Dino Rig comes with an Indiana Jones-esce explorer with removable fedora and backpack, plus a Mommy and baby dino.  The baby dino fits snugly in the bed of the Dino Rig.  Which means that depending on the disposition of your toddler, the explorer is either delivering the baby to the mommy, or taking it away from her.  Given the Cheshire Cat grins on both the dinosaurs, though, regardless of the scenario your toddler has come up with, I have a feeling the dinosaurs are going to win.

The Dino Rig's huge knobby tires and bulldog stance is appealing to both Mini Cooper enthusiasts and sand-dweller's alike.  The rig is perfect for the sandbox, beach, or dirt pile in your backyard. 

Or, you can do what the Mu did, which was to deliver the dinos to his Little People farmhouse and make nice with all of the other animals.  Suddenly the Dino Rig became the farmer's tractor, and the dinosaurs laid down with the lamb...
